How can people see pictures of Jesus in things (most recently a clothes iron), when no one really knows what Jesus looked like?

I've never seen Hy-Vee like this. Not a parking spot in site! People were parking across the street on the grass. Were they giving away money or soemthing? It was worse than trying to find parking the day before Thanksgiving.

Last night, I was backing out of my driveway a little after 9pm to go to the store. My neighbor across the street had parked his car right behind my driveway. It was dark out, and his car is a dark color. So of course, I hit it. No major damage, just a small dent and a paint scrape. My car just has some scrapes. I didn't want to knock on the door, because they have little kids and they were probably in bed. So I just popped a note into their mailbox.

He comes to my front door this morning, and says not to worry about it, that they are planning on getting a new car next year anyway. AND he brought me 4 banana nut muffins, still warm, that his wife baked for me.

The moral of the story is: Back into your neighbor's car, and you'll get muffins.

Found out today that our company is moving to the south tower of Mutual of Omaha. Yay! I am beyond happy about this. Glad to be back downtown....expecially by all the new Midtown Crosssing stuff. Just more affirmation of the wise decision not to buy a house out west.

My laptop case is small and akward, so I got a laptop tote that I can throw my purse stuff and lunch into too. I plan to start bringing my laptop to work, so over my lunch break I can hang out at places w/wi-fi (lots of them right around my building)...driving home for lunch every day is getting expensive in terms of gas.
